Rotary level controls are used for level control in tanks containing powdered or granular materials. The case is made entirely of plastic. Operation is due to the low speed rotation of a synchronous motor which drives a propeller placed inside the tank to be controlled. In the absence of material, the motor is under tension and the propeller rotates. When the material is present around the propeller, it brakes its rotation and activates the exchange of the output contacts. The propeller starts moving again when the level of the product drops below it, allowing it to rotate again.
