The rotation control or speed control CRTP series is used to control the speed of a rotating shaft or the stopping of the same. The device controls the time interval between two pulses detected by a sensor in mechanisms with rotating or rectilinear movement. If this time becomes greater than the one set on the device, an alarm occurs which signals the decrease in speed or stopping of the mechanical unit. These equipments represent an excellent solution for the verification of sliding, web breakage, overload, etc. in applications such as conveyor belts, bucket elevators, crushers, grinders, pumps, mixers and other applications where slowing down or stopping due to mechanical breakage or anomalous functioning needs to be controlled. The same device, suitably programmed, can check the condition of the stopped shaft, signaling an alarm in case of movement of the same. The rotation control consists of an electronic CRTP unit with various programming possibilities and an inductive, capacitive or photoelectric detection sensor in the NAMUR-NPN-PNP versions. The combination with sensors with different detection systems and with various shapes and sizes, allows the use of the CRTP rotation or stop control having high possibilities of use. The equipment is powered in alternating current with relay output with changeover contact. SPEED CONTROL CRTP-U / O AF FOR UNDER / OVER SPEED AND STOP SHAFT CONTROL (Special version) This version of rotation control, in addition to the characteristics described in the CRTP model, can be programmed for two types of operation referred to a rotary or linear unit, one for the control of the speed decrease (under speed) and the other for the control increase in speed (over speed). In both versions mentioned above, the equipment includes the presence of the stopped shaft safety control.
